- In table above, we have listed the sub-grades within the main grading frame of X and S Grade of Toyota Corolla Fielder. For example, X SPECIAL EDITION is extension of X grade but with Special Edition. Another example is X HID SPORTS SELECTION which is again extention of grade X. One must know what these special editions offer in addition to the base X grade. We will discuss this in our next ariticle but one point has to be kept in mind that Power, Torque and Size of body play very important role in all grades, models and special editions.

Before starting off with demanding Toyota Corolla Fielder, it is necessary to touch a bit of history. It is called Corolla Fielder because it is a station model, introduced in 2000. Just to make things simple, it is a Corolla with different body shape. The Corolla Fielder of 2000 also called Corolla Fielder E120 that has longer wheelbase and more edgier-body style. Wheelbase is the distance between the centers of the front and rear wheels. A vehicle with a longer wheel base usually rides smoother both on and off the road. Corolla E120 was designed from the viewpoint of supporting the needs of various car markets. E120 ruled the world till 2006 when it was replaced by E140 in late 2006 or early 2007. Toyota Corolla Fielder came in two engine capacities - 1500cc and 1800cc. Prices, for new or used, heavily depends on grade which people may not understand. I hope that after reading this article you will have a good idea to understand the details of grade and chassis models.

In above table, we have not indicated the transmission type like CVT, 5-gear, 6-gear, 4-gear or FAT. You have to check before you buy. In newer 2006 models. CVT does exist. Same for the Sunroof, all models came with sunroof but as an option so it has to be checked whether the model you are buying has got sunroof or not.
