As part of the joint United Nations project on “Youth Empowerment and Participation in Lebanon”, the present national conference aims to celebrate the official endorsement of the policy document and to launch other background studies publication in the presence of national multi-stakeholders and international partners.

The conference aims at ensuring national and government endorsement to the National Youth Policy and a commitment to a vision for a practical follow up and implementation on its recommendation. 

More specifically, the conference aims:

• To present the project methodology and process emphasizing the participatory approach and partnership between the UN, civil society and government;

• To present the thematic findings and recommendations of youth and stakeholders from all regions throughout the Consensus building process; 

• To announce the establishment of the National Youth Forum, presenting its terms of reference (TOR) and short term action plan.
