  • Introduction  
  • This postgraduate course was designed to contribute to the development of competent occupational safety and health (OSH) professionals. The general objective is to facilitate the knowledge and skills required for effectively dealing with safety and health management.

    At the end of the training programme, participants will be able to:

    • Manage the use of procedures, methods and other tools for hazard identification, risk evaluation and risk control.
    • Formulate, implement and evaluate a safety and health plan for an enterprise, incorporating essential OSH concepts and techniques of OSH management.
    • Advise employers and workers on technical requirements of OSH.
    • Support the efforts of an enterprise to improve its OSH.
