  • After completing this activity, the participant will be able to do the following:

    • Summarize the molecular genetics and epigenetics of inherited colorectal cancer syndromes and the impact of those genetics and epigenetics on the treatment of these conditions;
    • Describe emerging research in the etiology and prevention of colorectal cancer and review some of the chemoprevention treatment options for inherited colorectal cancer syndromes;
    • Summarize the newest research in the behavioral, basic science, and clinical aspects of hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes;
