- The Parkes 64m telescope is celebrating its 50th year of enabling world-class discovery with a Science Symposium that will take place at the telescope from 31 October through 4 November 2011. In this meeting we look back at some of those lasting contributions, look around at those currently underway and look forward to those still to come.
