The theme for this workshop “Drilling HSE: Striving for Excellence” promises to inspire and challenge participants and attendees with innovative ideas and best practices from the drilling industry around the world. The objectives of the workshop are to:

- Explore and assess drilling HSE standards and codes of practice of other organisations, regulatory agencies, and legislative bodies and identify those that will have significant impact on and value added to the drilling operations.

- Learn techniques to identify hazards in drilling/workover operations and to manage the risk associated with these hazards.

- Share knowledge on developing and implementing proactive HSE risk management plans for drilling/workover operation.

- Discuss real-life case studies and share lessons learnt which help to minimise incidents,  prevent injuries, and maximise the effectiveness of HSE initiatives.
