In tandem with the rapid economic and the resulting infrastructure growth in the Middle East, the issue of fire safety for properties, businesses and more importantly people has framed the concerns and policies of government officials and fire professionals, for decades. Independently, governments have formulated codes and guidelines that have promoted and provided fire safety requirements in homes and industries.

Fire Safe Oman 2012 provides a platform to discuss some of the best practices in the fire safety industry worldwide and share them with the Omani industry, service providers, consultants, decision makers, government officials to help them frame policies, select and implement technology and processes and consequently usher in a more safe environment.

This forum is one of its kind to be hosted in Oman and will comprise of accomplished senior HSE and Fire Safety officials who will represent the full range of perspectives in preventing or containing fire outbreaks in commercial, industrial and residential areas. New Fire Safety procedures and technologies are emerging rapidly but are not being impemented in routine practices, backed with comprehensive sessions, panel discussions and case studies, this forum will seek strategies on how new and improved methods can influence day- to -day and regulatory practices.
