Mission: Impossible? Evidence-based & the future of global health - November 07, 2011 - November 09, 2011
-
Adelaide, Australia
- Introduction
- Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to
attend the 2011 JBI Convention and to establish whether an
evidence-based approach to the delivery of healthcare will in fact
improve global health outcomes.
Agents who form part of the healthcare operative come from a variety of professions and are chosen based on the particular skills necessary to the mission. While not all agents are required for every mission, they all play a crucial role in ensuring a stable future for improved global health outcomes. It is for this reason we require agents from all the health disciplines to make up our Impossible Mission Force and attend this important event.
Our adversaries on this mission are many and often appear in disguise so you must be wary. Ritualistic approaches to care provision and a lack of knowledge regarding the science and utility of evidence to inform clinical decision making can have devastating effects. This clandestine operation aims to resolve these issues and more.
