The second edition focuses on Planning and Evaluation in the glocal context. We consider “glocalization” as a meaningful integration of local and global practices (Brooks and Normore, 2009) that expresses the way local actions reflect and resignify national and global tendencies and politics which affect them (Robertson, 1995). Thus, we propose to discuss planning and evaluation taking into account social, political and cultural aspects that affect the participants involved in the educational processes in higher education in the era of globalization and technology. These impose changes in teaching practices and in the ways we conceptualize the relationship among students, teachers and knowledge production.
