- The primary interest of this conference is a knowledge-based sociological change. Driven by globalization, the challenge that we face today is how to make the best use of the educational and economic opportunities available to women and what can their contribution be towards their society, without endangering the sacred institution of our family. The conference offers a comprehensive overview of current thinking about women’s role. Its perspectives range from big picture analyses in keynote addresses by international experts in the field, to detailed case studies. It traverses a broad terrain, from theory and analysis to practical strategies for action.
