- Introduction
- The News Education Conference has continued with its focus on Higher Education, The Conference has gone to provincial capitals as well, for the main National Conference in 2014 we turn our focus to one of the most pressing issues faced by Pakistan; the extremely low primary enrollment rates. In fact a recent UN report gave the alarming statistic that 32% of Pakistani Children never go to school. This is the Challenge that The News Education Conference 2014 tackles, titled “ The Missing 1/3rd” it looks at the challenges, issues and opportunities in reaching out to these missing children and making them a part of the educational system.
