  • Introduction
  • EXCON2012 will provide an interdisciplinary discussion forum for researchers from academia and industry working on excitonic processes in a variety of materials and devices (inorganic, organic, and biological) and on a range of phenomena caused by or associated with excitons, including luminescence, energy and charge transfer, nonlinear and bistable optical response, Bose-Einstein condensation, and photoinduced phase transitions.

Following the tradition of EXCON conferences, EXCON2012 is expected to attract participation from researchers from various disciplines, such as materials scientists, photo-physicists and photo-chemists, condensed matter physicists, physical chemists, and biophysicists. EXCON has a long standing tradition of strong interactions between theoretical and experimental researchers.

Presentations will be in oral and poster forms, with several invited talks. Some of the contributed papers will be selected as invited papers.
