- With the introduction of The State Program of Healthcare Development “Salamatty Kazakhstan” in 2010, the Kazakh Government laid out clear plans for healthcare development in an attempt to successfully invest and diversify large state profits from natural resources.
Quality and accessibility of healthcare has improved considerably in the last decade, however, challenges remain, particularly in rural areas where infrastructure lags behind the country’s two most populated cities of Astana and Almaty.
