The primary objective of this two-day workshop is to bring together operators, service companies, research bodies, regulatory authorities and other interested parties, in an open and collaborative environment to discuss challenges and share potential solutions that will:

Present sophisticated drilling technology and advanced completion techniques.

Address production forecasting, reserves determination and effective design of enhanced recovery projects.

Share field case studies and best practices in the disciplines of geoscience, reservoir characterization, and exploitation technology.

This workshop will focus on establishing sound geoscience and engineering principles as they apply to each of the tight oil plays discussed. Topical plays could include the following:
