The 5th World Hydropower Congress will bring together top players and organisations involved in hydropower operation and development around the world, to discuss and debate strategy for the sector over the next 35 years.  

The three-day congress will bring together 1,000 leaders and specialists from the hydropower sector and the wider world of politics, finance, environment and technology to share visions for the future of hydropower.

Participants will examine great cases of success today and how they translate into durable solutions for the future. The congress will be an occasion to discuss previsions that hydropower capacity could double by the middle of the century, and the technical, economical and social assumptions that support these forecasts.
