- Introduction
- This conference will once again provide a platform for EU policymakers and law enforcement authorities to discuss with business leaders the means of combating serious and transnational crime. It will focus on the Serious Organised Crime priorities agreed by Council for 2013-2017 and, in particular, counterfeit goods, excise & VAT fraud. Discussions will also deal with the impact of terrorism and cyber crime on Europe’s ability to do business, while examining the emerging, significant links between human trafficking and forms of organised criminal activities.
