- Introduction
- Iraq’s construction potential has no bounds. Apart from the priority to build millions of new homes and repair existing buildings, huge infrastructure renewal is required, not least in the treatment of water and its distribution, new sewerage systems, roads, airports, rail systems and ports. The initial focus is on Rolling out affordable housing projects, with the Government planning to build at least 3.5 million housing units over the next ten years to meet necessary demand in Basrah.
