- Introduction
- As we know, West Africa has long been the hotspot for Africa deepwater exploration in the past decades. However, there is a growing number of major players paying their attention to the new arising exploration hotspot—East Africa, as many experts said “this region ignored even in the past 5 years is expected to become a new future star in the deepwater industry”.
Besides, Southern Africa is also an attracting region, with many IOCs’ oil & gas hunting activities off South Africa east coast and the Namibia’s pre-salt geology also show a bright prospect for deepwater exploration in Southern Africa.
