- Introduction
- The ECWS initiative aims to gather likeminded individuals and organisations from around the globe with the aim of proposing forward thinking and innovative solutions to today’s urban problems. The key is, in the context of sustainable development, to transform cities around the world in order to make them greener, healthier and all in all better places to live in.
The aim of ECWS 2015 is to:
Facilitate exchanges among local, regional and governmental decision-makers, researchers and the civil society
Bring together all the different disciplines on sustainable cities
Develop action strategies relevant to the host region and to the global community
Gather likeminded individuals and organisations from around the globe with the aim of proposing forward thinking and innovative solutions to today’s urban problems. The key is, in the context of sustainable development, to transform cities around the world in order to make them greener, healthier and all in all better places for their inhabitants to live in. - Participant
