- Introduction
- The conference is designed for strategic level decision makers and runs for 2 days within 4 tracks. It covers all the key issues raised by the utilities during one-to-one research discussions and as suggested by our Program Advisers comprising utility leaders from across the region. We anticipate no less than 80 speakers sourced from across ASEAN utilities, leading vendors as well as international experts.
Key Issues
The event has a long history in metering and smart grid strategies, clean energy, T&D, and Billing/CRM which remain part of the exhibition today.
In relation to power, we will focus on:
Transmission and distribution, and the integration of distributed generation assets within the grid.
Servicing remote communities and how renewable energy facilitates this.
How to better protect their utility assets and how to secure their revenue so we focus on these areas in our plenary discussions.
Peak management strategies such as Demand Response, Energy Storage and creating new energy from Biomass which is the subject of case studies.
But like everywhere, ASEAN utilities know that they need to upgrade their ICT infrastructure to promote applications like big data analytics, AMI smart metering and clean power integration and these topics make up most of our afternoon streams. - Useful Links
