  • Introduction
  • This prestigious World Congress is being held in Australia for the first time. It is aimed at nurses ‘working at the bedside’ and will be of interest to clinicians, educators and clinical managers.

The focus for this exciting international conference is CLINICAL CRITICAL CARE NURSING PRACTICE and INNOVATION. As such, abstract submissions are invited for free papers (oral and poster presentations) consistent with this theme.

Our program will include clinically focused presentations and debate at the highest level and offers a rare opportunity for international clinical networking. It will attract a wide variety of critical care nurses worldwide.

This World Congress represents an excellent forum for presentation of your CLINICAL PRACTICE and INNOVATION and, as organisers, we strongly support this opportunity for you to share your knowledge, ideas and experiences with a wider audience.

This conference is unique because its focus is CLINICAL PRACTICE. Therefore abstracts are invited that present any aspect of critical care nursing practice. A range of different types of project abstract will be considered including (but not limited to), for example:

Descriptions of innovative practice and new ways of working
    Quality improvement initiatives
    Education initiatives
    Case studies
Experience with new devices or technology
    Patient/consumer projects
    Clinical audits
    Practice development projects
    Research translation projects
