- Introduction
- Biotechniques-2011 covers a wide range of topics pertaining to the application of environmental biotechnology for air pollution control and related areas, through treatment processes in bioreactors and clean (bio) fuels production.
Recently, the application range of environmental bioprocesses has been extended and focusses both on the treatment (biodegradation) and prevention of pollution (bioconversion, biofuels). The conference opens new
doors to industrial partners in order to facilitate research cooperation between academics and industries, potentially allowing commercialization of new biotechniques.
