The CEWIT 2011 Conference, is a one day event organized by the Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology (CEWIT), at Stony Brook University. The conference is the 8th in its technical series and provides a platform for leading academic and business institutions to explore collaboratively new technologies and their business potential.

The program includes different tracks including emerging technologies, Cloud Computing, Visual Computing, healthcare and medical devices, Smart Grid & Smart Energy, smart infrastructure and other industry solutions including show casing of IT solutions from participating companies.
