  • Introduction  

  • Universities have become increasingly conscious of the fact that quality in education has to go beyond modernizing curriculum and hiring highly qualified faculty members. Quality also entails providing a holistic and differentiated (personalized) learning experience for students. In all aspects of university administration, there has been a greater need to be more student-centric, ranging from managing space to enrich student life to devising quality curriculum that will equip students for the dynamic 21st century work environment.

  • This conference will be the platform for a 2-day workshop series (6 – 7 December 2011) followed by 2 days of paper presentations (8 – 9 December 2011), that will include invited lectures, paper presentations on various sub-themes, special sessions devoted to students’ learning, and poster sessions.
