- Lecture by Joseph Schirò and David F. Bugeja, Care of your treasures - Restoration and Care of Paintings and Painted Wood. In conjunction with Red, White...and Green – A Retrospective Exhibition of leading Maltese Artists (until 8 December) Flimkien Ghal Ambjent Ahjar is organizing a lecture to which everyone is invited. “We can all act in favour of our cultural heritage by learning how to protect such treasures from damage and rapid deterioration. The owners of works of art, whether antique or of more recent times, have every interest in ensuring that their works are well cared for and well preserved. As part of its commitment to preserve cultural heritage, Flimkien Ghal Ambjent Ahjar has invited two professional restorers to give presentations on modern conservation and restoration methods and to inform the public on how to care for their objects of art by following simple and effective guidelines”.
