- What is Tapioca Syrup
- Tapioca syrup is made from tapioca starch which comes from the cassava root. It is used in beverages, baked goods, cereal & granola, confections, crackers, dairy, desserts and sauces. Tapioca syrup is also used as an alternative sweetener in place of corn syrup, honey, sugar or maple syrup. Tapioca syrup mainly consists of carbohydrates and also low saturated fat, cholesterol, sodium, folic acid (vitamin B9), iron and calcium.
