  • A flour ground from oat groats, which are hulled and cleaned oats. Oat flour is also ground from rolled oats or oatmeal. High in carbohydrates and also provide protein, fat, calcium, iron, and B vitamins. It is used as a thickener in some foods and also used in cookies, cakes, alcoholic drinks, cosmetics, soaps, external medical treatments, and is sometimes added to animal feed products.
