  • Stevia which is also called sweet leaf or sugar leaf, extracted from Stevia leafs, used as sugar substitute or sweetener. Steviol Glycoside extracts are 300 times more sweet than sugar. Stevia has always been in high demand as low-carbohydrate, low-sugar sweeteners. The availability of stevia varies from country to country. In Japan especially, it has been widely used for decades as a sweetener. Stevia is extracted with water from Stevia leaves but crystallized with alcohol.
